• Garrett Wishon, CEO/Owner

Garrett has over 12 years of aviation experience, after leaving college he began his career as a design engineer.

After 2 years in Design engineering for a UL electrical manufacture he left to join the aerospace industry with HAECO. He started his aerospace career in 5-axis programming and managing the thermoforming department to support the seating division of Haeco.

He moved from programming/manufacturing engineering support  to production management, then program management on airbus programs. This propelled his career and he then started Wishon manufacturing solutions in 2018 as a side venture.

With a background in engineering, finance, machining and program management it gave him the ability to go in and assist companies in the monotonous daily ins and outs of manufacturing and 145 repair station management. In 2019 Garrett became the site owner for Summit MFG in NC. Growing the site 2X based off the team he was lucky enough to be a part of and moving them into a much larger facility in Greensboro to facilitate continued growth.

After this he left to join the team at Latitude aero for a short stint to help set up their AS9100 quality manual and their machine shop/Interior panel shop. He stayed on as a consultant until the end of 2024.

In March 2024  Garrett started at Piedmont aviation with the task of leaning out the Landing gear and MPG shop, though a tall task he identified the correct team and helped get the FPY in the plating shop to a record level with the help of the correct staffing and plating engineer. He credits the team he helped build with the success of the shop. He continues to support them from a sales and brokered parts prospective.

He walks into a new position with Albers aerospace as VP and GM of Heritage Aero that has 3 sites, 2 in Dallas and 1 in Tucson; Albers has one mission and that is to support the war fighter. Its a serious job and they take the initiative seriously. He goes into this position with the same optimism and zeal at the same time he supports his customer for Wishon manufacturing solutions. As does the team that has been built at Wishon Manufacturing Solutions.

Though his methods may be unorthodox, they are based in what has worked in the past. He didn’t learn how to win, without losing. Change is not suppose to be comfortable, if your comfortable then your not changing or growing. In business you either grow or you die, there is no staying constant. If your staying constant call us, we work with P/E firms that are looking for profitable constants to turn them into growth monsters. We do that too. Success is always the end goal. And everyday is going to be an adventure. Garrett believes in the philosophy of Thomas Watson, former IBM CEO. “To be successful, you have to have your heart in your business, and your business in your heart.” Its how we all operate, we live aviation.

With experience in new production development, implementation, Design, P/L management, lean manufacturing, programming, engineering, MRP optimization, sales and parts brokerage. He brings a wealth of knowledge and network to the team. But humbly knows, he’s one of the youngest on the team and owes all his knowledge and success in his career to the people on the team and many more that are un-mentioned in the back ground. The ones who made him who he is today, he still speaks to often and will never lose that sense of loyalty that help create this company. The same loyalty we as a company have to our customers and partners.

  • Todd Anderson, COO of OEM/Manufacturing Business Development

Todd has 40 years of Aerospace experience.

Recruited out of college to work on the Space Shuttle program at Rocketdyne in Canoga Park. Todd worked on the Space Shuttle program as the lead technician over the High and Low Pressure Fuel Turbopumps. From the period of intensive process evaluation post the Challenger incident to the refinement in assembly and testing protocols Todd oversaw and participated in significant polishing of the processes associated with the disassembly, overhaul, assembly and testing of the Fuel (Liquid Hydrogen) turbopumps for the Rocketdyne prior to his departure.

Upon departing Rocketdyne, Todd saw an opportunity to build and curate 3 dimensional contour cutting dies for the automotive industry. As a 3D die builder and machinist Todd built, maintained and enhanced these very complex dies enabling higher throughput and potentiating significant improvements in die durability and die strike accuracy/accuracy.

After gaining the experience as a die builder, Todd re-focused his sights back into the Aviation Space. After accepting a position as Machining Manager at the Aerostructures Corporation in Nashville, TN. Todd quickly established his understanding of Long and Large machining. Supervising a crew of 33 people, Todd was able to develop rapport and trust with his Team of Machinists which grew throughput and significantly reduced scrap.

After achieving the role of Lead Machine Shop Supervisor, Todd was appointed to Plant Manager on 3rd shift. After 18 months in this position, Todd was promoted to Lead Supervisor on the Gulfstream 450 Wing build line. At this time, Todd had 133 people reporting to him. Through his work with the Team and various processes on the G-IV/450 line Todd was able to achieve and sustain the lowest man hour flow times in the programs history. He achieved the lowest flow time in Company history.

Todd, then transferred to the Airbus A330/340 leading edge line. This line, plagued with shortages was failing to deliver product. After collaborating with purchasing, manufacturing engineering and the tooling team, Todd and his team were able to create a protocol that allowed for drilling and jig locating of precision located interchangeable line replaceable. This protocol, although highly scrutinized at first, ultimately allowed the line to keep schedule eliminating the need to ship leading edges via overnight freight to UADES/Airbus via the Anotov AN-124. This effort saved the relationship between Airbus and The Aerostructures Corporation.

For a short period of time, post the Airbus line. Todd was promoted to the position of Manufacturing Engineer III. I Todd worked with various other areas within the facility to identify programs with high scrap rates or significant challenges and schedule degradation. Todd identified tooling challenges with every program assigned. These challenges, previously attributed to workmanship, once re-tooled provided near instantaneous positive results. Reducing scrap and optimizing throughput. Todd attributes virtually all all of this success to the technicians on the floor being open and honest with his approach which is unheard of.

After 8 plus years at the Aerostructures Corporation (then Triump, now NWI Aerostructures Nashville) Todd left for a dynamic position as Program Manager of a Boeing Spares Program at a private manufacturing company. During his tenure in this position, Todd grew the spares program from 1.5M annually to nearly 10.0M annually. When the industry downturn hit in 2008. Rather than closing up shop, Todd and his team doubled down. During this time Todd and his team diversified, adding 7 new customers to their clientele. This Saved the company.

Always ready for a challenge, Todd was contacted by a machine shop in North Carolina named TruAtlantic for a role in Business Development. The Job, onboard Prime OEM’s. A task previously not accomplished. In his role as Business Development Manager, Todd was successful in onboarding multiple prime tier one OEM’s. Through his actions and guidance, Todd and his business development team were able to grow sustainable sales resulting in amazing sales and turning the company around.

After 8 dynamic years at Summit Aviation, Todd accepted a role as Director of Sales at a small Zyxaxis Inc., A small but very dynamic and talented Aerospace Company in Wichita KS . In a short period of time, Todd was able to acquire several new customers allowing the company to double in size, along with setting up a 5X growth potential in the coming months.

Todd, through open, thorough and honest communication has succeeded due to his leadership style which invites open conversation, calculated opportunity risk, employee satisfaction and fulfillment of customer need.
